Quado Message:

Today’s message is from the Quado Archives of Tuesday, May 23, 2000

You are a sparkling gem.  And like the gems you know in the physical world, you are a unique entity.  You have facets which are cut in a totally unique way, and a depth and brilliance which is yours alone. Your soul is like this, a unique gem of great beauty, of brilliance and intensity, which can shine and light up the world.  This is you.  This is who you are.

You are here for a brief time, to shed your light upon the world, to be who you are and to let the world see it and become a better place for your presence.  You are here to polish your gleam, to remove the dust and debris that surround you, to remove the baser rock and let your beauty and depth shine out on the world.  You are here to make yourself better through this process of polishing, and also, after you are polished to a bright gleam, to light up the spot of the world in which you find yourself.

Some of you may achieve a bright enough gleam to light up the world.  And some of you may achieve the gleam to light up a room when your loved ones walk in.  Both are good. And either is appropriate for the place where you find yourself at this stage in your evolution.

And as you go through this process of polishing, polishing bright enough to be a light for your own life as well as for others, you must also recognize your value.  You must realize that you are a precious gem.  And in your dealings with others, you must conduct yourself with this knowledge.  You must value yourself so that others may value you, as a reflection of the light which you reflect.

So many of you are concerned about money and status.  You want to be successful.  You work so hard, so hard that it almost breaks my heart to watch you , trying and striving, year after year, wondering why you have not yet succeeded in the way that you wished.

And yet, through all this, I see you criticizing yourself, berating yourself for your failures, devaluing yourself.  Allowing in the darkness, mixing with the baser elements of life.

No. No. You are a jewel.  Your soul is a jewel of great radiance.  And all you have to do is remove the baser rock from your surface.  All you have to do is reveal yourself in your glory and shine.

Remember this. Treat yourself this way.  You are a treasure.  You are a jewel.  You have great beauty and light inside.  You are as strong and resilient as the diamond.  As deeply colored in beauty as the ruby and emerald. You are like the star sapphire with the gleam that comes from inside.

You do not need anyone else in the world to approve of you to make this true.  You do not need money, fame, success, recognition, approval to make this true. It simply is.

And if you are not shining, if your beauty is not visible, then it is not because you are not a jewel, it is because you have not yet completed the work of polishing yourself up, of cutting the right facets which will let your brilliance shine, of removing the baser rock, of taking all of your God-given abilities and polishing them, using them, letting them shine out for yourself and everyone else.

Yes, there is work to be done.  But not the work you may be doing. The work to be done is this:  the work necessary to let yourself shine in your own glory.  The rest is unimportant.
