Let Quado help you along your path of gentle and loving self-transformation

Below is this week's installment of A Course in Creation.

If you miss a message in the series, just go to A Course in Creation.  They will all be posted there.

Quado’s Message:

Today we will continue our Course in Creation, the basis for creating a wonderful and fulfilling life.  And today, our topic is purpose, your life’s purpose.

Many of you have a general feeling of dissatisfaction, a frustration that life seems so mundane and that you are meant for something greater.  You think that if only you could discover your life’s purpose and follow it, then you would be happy, then you would be fulfilled, then the obstacles would all melt away.

And so, the first thing I wish for you to do is accept that you are living the life you should be living, right now.  Accept that you have walked your path as you should have, learning what you needed to learn every step of the way, facing the challenges which you should have faced, responding to things in a way which was perfectly appropriate for your level of enlightenment, understanding, depth and centering at the time of its happening.

Life is as it is and it is good, exactly as it is.  You are as old as you are, as beautiful as you are, as smart as you are.  You are not meant to be someone else or even another more supposedly perfect version of yourself.  You are as you are right now, and this is exactly how you should be.

Will life continue to put challenges in your path?  Yes, absolutely.  Will some things be very difficult?  Yes, certainly.  And each of the obstacles, challenges and difficulties helps shape and form you into you.  And you are exactly who you should be.  Right now.

And so, what is your purpose?  To live.  To live as fully as you can.  To live as vibrantly as you can.

Is it your purpose to be a deeply spiritual person, someone who lives in complete service to others?  If that is what you are doing, then it is your purpose.  But if you are not, if you are living a life like many others, earning your living, raising a family and spending time with friends, exploring some new aspects of your talents and creativity, but watching some TV, too, if this is your life, then it is what you are meant to do.

Right now, in this very moment, you are exactly right.  And since everything which came before led you to this time and place, then all of that was exactly as it should have been, too.  By definition, you are fulfilling your life’s purpose right now, simply by being alive and taking one more breath.

And what happens next?  You shall see.  Live now, in this moment.  Do what is in front of you now.  Do not miss Now because you are focused on regrets over the past or on fears of the future.  Yes, some future focus is necessary, in order to plant the seedlings which will become trees.  But this planting is done now, not in the future.  Right now, plant some trees and tend some roses while you also pick the tomatoes which will feed your family today.  Take action now.

Do not spend your time dreaming and wishing you were doing something else.  Right now, make your job better, make your relationships better, bring peace and joy and love into your life.  Do that in action that you take right now.

And you will find several things, if you will focus down into action within now.  First, you will see that right now, there is a limited set of what you might do.  All of those worries and daydreams, about what you will do if this happens or that happens, are just wasted time and energy.  Right now there are choices to be made, actions to be taken.  Do a good job with these, and the rest will begin to fall into place.

Act now.  Decide now. Go deep into your heart of rightness and find the right answers, the right choices, the loving responses, the compassionate words, find all of that within you right now.

You do not need to know where the path leads.  You only need to know which fork to take at the crossing which lies in front of you right now.  That is all you need to do and all you need to know.  And this answer is inside you, in a deep and quiet, settled feeling in your center.  It may take courage to walk off into the dark forest without knowing why, but if you are following your heart of rightness, all will be well.  Guaranteed.  Not necessarily easy, of course, for that is not life.  But it will be the right path if it feels right in your core.  It will lead you to the places you should go.

And the other thing you will notice, when you focus on making the right choices now, in this moment, is that the future begins to unfold in beautiful and mysterious ways.  Somehow, by focusing on now, on actions which you can actually take, instead of on useless daydreams, you uncover worlds which you would never have dreamt of. You open up opportunities which you did not even know existed.  And after a time, following life this way, letting yourself be led, surrendering to the rightness inside instead of trying to control and plan, life leads you to your purpose and you begin to feel it and know it.  You begin to feel a rightness welling up inside, a wonderful feeling of congruity with your world.

And through all of this, if you continue to focus on your internal peace, on building up that quiet and deep center within, this begins to be mirrored on the outside as well, and you meet people who feed this within you.  The circumstances of your life, though still challenging, can then be met with peace and acceptance.

And gradually, you begin to see that your true purpose in life is this, to be who you are, expressed in every moment through the rightness of your thoughts, emotions and actions.  And the rest, what career you have, whether you married or did not, whether you had children or did not, whether you were a leader or a follower, rich or not so rich, successful or not so successful, famous or private, all of this does not matter.  All that matters is that you reached the rightness within you, the feeling of peace and centeredness which says:  I am.  And that you then let this guide you through your choices in life, from where you are right now to the next step and then the next, choosing and acting and moving always from a feeling of connection and rightness.

And this, then, is your purpose.  And this will lead you to what you need to do and what you need to experience.  And it will connect with the larger patterns of life, those great unseen and unknowable patterns which drive the life force of all, in our great and wondrous connection.

For you are one with all that is.  You are a part of great patterns moving across great and vast skies.  You are a little drop of paint on a very large canvass indeed, and it is impossible from here to see the whole picture, to know how your own little drop fits in and makes the entire picture exactly what it should be.

But it is so.  And your clue to it all is in that feeling of rightness deep inside.  “This moment, right now, this is what I should do.  I feel it.  It is right.”  Be like this in every moment and you cannot help but fulfill your purpose, which is, in the end, simply to be you, just exactly as you are.

A Few Words from Carrie

I read this in the Wall Street Journal on Friday, April 15, 2005:  “The average adult American woman is 5’4” tall, weighs 155 pounds, and wears a size 14.”

What a relief!

Recommendations:

I believe that the most important thing you can do for yourself and those around you is to meditate.  I really, really, want you to join us on April 30th.  It will be wonderful to connect the energies of all of the Quado readers.  And I can hardly wait to see what Quado wishes to say to all of us on the occasion.

As I told you last week, I will be speaking the words from Quado as they come to me, live.  So this is an exciting adventure for me as well as for you.  Click here to sign up now.

It is my hope that this will be a great success, in which case we will do it again and often.  But there will only be one first time, and that is on April 30th.  Be there!

Love & peace,

Carrie
